Homps Languedoc villa rental - general information
Homps is a small village (pop 700) on the Canal du Midi and therefore is lively with tourists and passing boats in
the summer. There are several restaurants/bars, a good supermarket and filling station.
The villa is almost centrally
located between the major towns of Narbonne, Beziers and Carcassonne, all being about 30 mins by car. Olonzac (pop
1600) is 3 mins and Lezignan ( pop 8500) is 15 mins.
The villa was built in 2008 and now provides off-road parking, four double bedrooms, air con, comprehensive
cooking facilities, modern furniture, Sky TV and a large enclosed pool.
Languedoc Roussillon is the sunniest region in mainland
France with average temperatures during the main rental season being May - 21, Jun - 25, Jul - 28, Aug - 27 and Sep - 23.
